Garnet 

 

Garnet is known for is a deep maroon or dark red color.  Garnet gets its name from the Latin word "granatum" meaning seed or grain. A red seed being associated with those of a pomegranate. Throughout history some garnets have been mistaken for rubies because of their tendency to exhibit a different shade of color when viewed from different directions under certain light conditions. The garnet brings power, energy, courage, depth of well being and love. It balances peace and solitude. Garnet is a grounding stone.

 

Peridot

 

Usually of a yellow-green color, peridot can vary in the depth of green and historically were often mistaken for emeralds. Long associated with spring and renewal, the peridot is also known as the “evening gemstone” because its color intensifies in the evening light. This gemstone is believed to bring its wearer success, peace, and good luck. Legend says that peridot was one of the favourite gemstones of Cleopatra and that some of the "emeralds" worn by her were actually peridot. One of the joy stones, peridot brings the energies from in the aura to the physical body. Its powers include health, protection, and sleep. The advantages of peridot are to attract love and calm anger while also soothing nerves and dispelling negative emotions. The peridot inspires healing, renewal, purification, rebirth and growth. Amethyst

 

Amethyst can vary in shades of purple and even include a reddish and milky purple shade. The purple color comes from the existence of manganese and the presence of iron determines the intensity of its color. Amethyst is a stone of faith. It increases trust in yourself and others. Amethyst is associated with spiritual awareness, meditation, balance, psychic abilities, inner peace, healing and positive transformation.  In addition it symbolizes sincerity and stability. Citrine

Citrine is transparent to translucent and yellow to gold-brown in color with a vitreous luster. The name citrine is derived from the old French word for lemon ; citrin. Its color comes from the presence of iron impurities within the crystal. Citrine is believed to symbolize light heartedness and joy. In ancient times, people carried citrine as a protection against snake venom. and evil thoughts. A quartz crystal from light to deep blue color.  Blue Topaz is favoured for its beautiful luster and color.  Legend says that it dispels all enchantment and helps to improve eyesight.
